These products are marketed by the Farmers agents. In April of 2005, Paul Hopkins was made CEO . He replaced Paul Hopkins who has been with Farmers for 27 years. The company provides many beneficial packages to the farmers including the medical, dental and vision plans. Farmers insurance company is the third largest in the field of automobile and home owner insurance.

The main aim of Farmers Insurance is to provide quality services with keeping rates in mind for insurance and financial services. The companies which come under farmer insurance company and financial services are Farmers Insurance Exchange, Domestic state Companies, Truck Insurance Exchange, Farmers new world life, Farmers "value added", Farmers Financial Solutions.

If you live in the Northwest avoid Farmer's at all cost!!!!!!!! Their claims reps/managers wait three-four weeks and still do not return phone calls. They wait for your company to come after them in subrogation! I know personally four people that have left them due to TERRIBLE claims!!!.

Summary
The rates are great in the beginning then you renew and all the discounts go away and your rates sky rocket. They count on the fact that you won't switch again and you lost the good customer discount from your old company so you have no where to go. Very deceptive and not friendly at all..

I am very dissatisfied with Farmers Insurance. I was hit by a speeding truck in a parking lot. Both sides have Farmers Insurance, and when I filed a claim, the insurance company said it was my fault, although I am 100% positive that I was in the right. The insurance company does not want to pay for my damages, since my car is in much worse shape than the truck, so they want me to pay fot the damages on the truck, even though it hit me and was obviously at fault. This has been a very bad experience with Farmers..
